Dr. Xue focuses on standardized diagnosis and treatment of common malignancies using an integrated Chinese and Western medical approach. He has extensive experience in managing cancer-related symptoms, alleviating the side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and conducting comprehensive geriatric assessments and formulating individualized, multidisciplinary treatment strategies to optimize treatment outcomes and life quality for elderly patients. He completed a visiting fellowship in the Palliative Care Program at Duke Cancer Institute, Duke University (USA), under the mentorship of the internationally renowned expert Professor Amy P. Abernethy. 

Dr. Xue has published numerous academic papers in leading domestic and international journals, including several indexed in SCI. As principal investigator, he has led a number of provincial- and ministerial-level research projects and, as a core team member, received the Second Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award, Ministry of Education. 

As a key member of the executive leadership team, Dr. Xue oversees critical administrative functions, including workplace safety and stability, graduate student affairs, youth league affairs, and medical outreach and support programs in underserved border regions. 

He also serves as Vice Chair of the Youth Committee, Traditional Medicine Society, Chinese Anti-Cancer Association; Vice Chair of the Youth Committee, Oncology Society, Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine; Standing Committee Member and Secretary General, Oncology Rehabilitation Committee, Chinese Geriatrics Society; Standing Committee Member, Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Committee, Beijing Breast Disease Prevention and Treatment Society; Standing Committee Member, Integrative Oncology Committee, Beijing Anti-Cancer Association; and Expert Member for Medical Malpractice Assessment in Beijing.
